The last 5 patients that have walked through my door have been experiencing some sign/symptom associated with the lungs. Seems easy enough. Some doc’s would go the pharmaceutical route, others would suggest a humidifier, some an inhalant or maybe being a little more on the green side- lobelia or sea buckthorne. All could have a “working effect”, but do they all have a positive effect? A healing effect? A lasting effect?
I like to ask, what is the reason WHY your patient is experiencing asthma, chronic cough, allergies that results in shortness of breath, chronic lung sicknesses, pneumonia, the only one who got sick when exposed to toxic inhalants or molds?
Of course I like to look at the physical and understand why the immune system maybe weak, the adrenal glands burned out or the presence of a systemic (overall) sickness or weakness. But in addition to the basic physiology being compromised, I like to address the emotions associated with the lung- Grief!
My favorite healing modality for grief is homeopathy, biotherapeutic drainage (which will help reach an even deeper level than homeopathy both on the physical and emotional plane) and some special secrets we have here at the office!
