It is extremely important to always interview your healing team. M.D.’s, D.O’s, Naturopathic Doctors, energetic healers (especially), acupuncturists, massage therapist, chiropractors and more.
Doctors and healers alike can do as much harm as healing.
And it is always interesting to me that we spend more time debating what cloths we want to buy, the car’s and homes we want to own and the good deals out in the market vs. the doctors and healers we see, the people we are intimate with and the foods we put in your bodies.
For the last 6years I have been a consistent patient to the same Doctors and healers. My healing team is comprised of a Naturopathic Doctor, Dr. Dickson Thom, N.D., D.D.S., a Five Element and Chinese Medicine Acupuncturist and Naturopathic Doctor Dr. Ilana Guervich, N.D., LAc and intuitive energetic light worker and energy healer Carey Hardy, massage therapist Susan Kinsey and an Applied Kinesiology Chiropractor Dr. Rudy Amicay, D.C.
However, there is a part of my personality that loves to try new healers. Either because I want to experiment with a new modality, make a business connection locally or have an additional modality and practitioner I can refer my patients to. And maybe that isn’t such a bad thing, BUT INTERVIEW YOUR HEALING TEAM, enter open hearted and minded but with proper energetic boundaries. I’ve decided I will start every visit with old and new practitioners saying an affirmation mantra to myself, “may this visit add to my life and soul purpose in a positive way. May I take on the healing aspects of today and discard the outside energies of others that I may have absorbed. May I also discard the harmful energies that may shift my body out of balance. Give me strength, love, purpose and clarity in each healing session.”
